Community builders & hosts
You bring people together around a place, a purpose, or a shared curiosity. Help those first connections grow into a community people help shape.

Community Catalyst training · Online & in person
Learn the craft of bringing people together and creating spaces where people feel seen, know they belong, and are inspired to contribute.
From gathering to belonging
You bring people together. Learn what helps them feel they belong and inspires them to contribute.
Perhaps newcomers stay on the edges. Shared experiences end, but the relationships don’t deepen. Too much still depends on you holding everything together.
Bring real situations from your community or team. Learn to attract people around a shared purpose, help them feel at home before they arrive, and design experiences that draw them in. Create a nurturing environment where relationships deepen, people find their place, and leadership grows.
Who this is for
For people already bringing others together, and people preparing to begin. Your setting can be a community, a venue, an organization, or a neighborhood.
You bring people together around a place, a purpose, or a shared curiosity. Help those first connections grow into a community people help shape.
You shape the life of a hotel, retreat, co-living home, or co-working space. Create a welcome that becomes a feeling of belonging.
You care for a team or an organization. Deepen trust, invite contribution, and create the conditions for people to lead together.
You organize in neighborhoods, movements, or social programmes. Build relationships and participation around what your community cares about.
What we practise
Six connected areas of practice. Each one returns to a real-life situation, with room to try, reflect, and refine.
Presence & listening
Notice how you show up. Listen with attention, make room for different perspectives, and learn to recognize what a group needs.
A listening practice to use in your next conversation or gathering.
Purpose & belonging
Explore the needs, hopes, and shared purpose of your community. Notice who feels at home, who remains at the edge, and whose voice is missing.
A clear community intention, shaped by the people it serves.
Welcoming & integration
Shape the journey from a first invitation to a sense of belonging, beginning before arrival. Design small moments that help people feel seen, meet one another, and find a way in.
A welcome journey you can try with newcomers.
Experience design
Work with gatherings, rituals, play, and shared activities. Practise holding a group with enough care and structure for meaningful encounters to emerge.
An experience you are ready to host and learn from.
Shared ownership
Invite participation, distribute responsibility, and make decisions together. Work with boundaries, differences, and conflict without making yourself the center of everything.
A practical way for others to contribute and step into leadership.
Sustaining the work
Develop the rhythms, relationships, and resources that support a community over time. Grow other facilitators and build reflection into the way you work.
A plan for the next chapter, with responsibility and care shared.
What you leave ready to create
A journey that helps newcomers feel seen, build relationships, and find ways to participate.
A gathering or shared activity, developed through practice and feedback, ready for your own setting.
Practical ways to invite contribution, share responsibility, and help the community keep evolving.
How the learning unfolds
Six live learning labs, peer exchange, and insights from community and culture practitioners. Explore the craft through conversation, reflection, and experience.
Bring the questions and possibilities you are working with. Try new approaches with your community or team, then return to the group to reflect, receive feedback, and refine your practice.
Exchange methods, ask for support, and find collaborators in the practitioner community. Keep developing your practice through shared questions, new relationships, and things you create together.

From the programme guide
A practical learning programme for people who bring others together. It explores welcoming, belonging, experience design, and shared leadership through live learning, peer exchange, and practice in your own setting.
You may already be hosting a community, leading a team, operating a shared space, or organizing locally. You may also be preparing to begin. A real context or idea to practise with will help you make the most of the learning.
The live online pathway is the first programme taking shape. In-person experiences will bring the learning into an unfolding world tour: a participatory gathering, two training days, and public connection experiences. Dates and locations will be shared when confirmed.
The proposed package includes live learning, peer practice and feedback, the digital book, the fourteen-day Connection Challenge, practical resources, and one year in the practitioner community. Full inclusions and the schedule will be clear before you commit.
The programme fee has not been announced. Applying begins a conversation. You will receive the schedule, fee, inclusions, and relevant supported-place information before deciding whether to join. No payment is requested with the application.
Yes. The intention is for paid training to help make supported places possible for people doing community work with limited resources. You can tell us about your circumstances in the application. Availability and the terms of support will be confirmed before booking.
Cultural pioneers, global thought leaders, and visionary entrepreneurs whose experience informs the programme as advisors, guides, and mentors. Their perspectives connect the learning to the real work of building communities, leading organizations, and shaping culture.
You can choose whether to continue your practitioner membership. Any continuation fee and terms will be shared before you decide. You do not need to commit to renewal when applying for training.
No. A short personal video is welcome if that feels natural, and a written introduction is equally welcome. We care about what you hope to nurture and the people you want to serve.
No. The application helps begin a personal conversation about fit, timing, and what would support you. Programme dates and fees are shared before an invitation to book.
