Why the wayfinders gather
Sensing possibilities, then asking what they require.
You may carry a question for a long time before finding people who want to explore it with you. A conversation can change the shape of that question. Someone notices an assumption you had stopped seeing. Another person offers an experience that makes a possibility more concrete.
That is part of what interests me about bringing visionary leaders, makers and doers together. Different ways of perceiving and contributing can help a group work with something no individual has fully understood.
The word wayfinder names a role in Imadreneering: sensing ahead on behalf of others, then acting on what is found. The project draws inspiration from that role without claiming a navigational or ceremonial lineage for its participants.
The programme gives this exploration a specific setting. Small cohorts gather for six days and five nights, with time in nature, plant medicine ceremonies, facilitated sensing, making and integration. Ceremony is central to the format. It should be understood as part of the actual experience when considering whether to express interest.
The proposed sequence moves from arriving and agreeing a shared question to capturing observations, finding patterns, making early prototypes and carrying the work back into life. What is made will depend on the people and the inquiry. There is no predetermined shared answer.
An insight also needs examination. What did we actually notice? Where do our perspectives differ? What would help us explore the idea further? What could we try, and what would we learn from trying it? Giving an impression form makes it possible to discuss and work with it.
This connects with the wider Pure Project: exploring possibilities, nurturing the conditions for contribution and bringing meaningful work into the world. Imadreneering is one expression. Community Catalyst Training and my advisory work offer different ways to engage with those concerns.
The first Imadreneering programmes are planned for summer 2027. Registering interest begins a conversation; it is not a booking or a confirmed place. Read the details, including the approach to screening and care, on the project website.
