What are Unique Minds?
Unique Minds describes people whose ways of thinking, learning, or engaging with the world may differ from conventional expectations. Divergent Guides is building a coordinated support team around each family.
Unique Minds is a branded expression, not a diagnosis. The person’s own experience comes first.
One young person. A team around them.
Every engagement begins by understanding the young person and their family. The planned team combines a guide for the young person, dedicated parent guidance, and specialist support when needed.
An approach to guiding
Listen before advising. Understand before defining. Support rather than fix. Guidance begins with listening, trust, and respect for the person’s own experience.
The guide’s role
Meet the person where they are. Listen deeply. Build trust with discernment and boundaries. Guides do not diagnose or provide clinical treatment; relevant specialists are involved when that expertise is needed.
Pure’s role in the launch
Pure helps bring the people, partnerships, and resources around the work, alongside Divergent Guides’ own team.
