Your information
Held with care.
How Pure uses the details you choose to share.
Pure uses your name, email, preferred communication channel, optional Instagram and LinkedIn profiles, other contact details, and the context you provide to review your enquiry and continue the relevant conversation. Details connected with a project may be shared with that project’s team for this purpose. Social profiles you share in a form stay in Pure’s private contact records; they are not added to your public member profile. Following Pure on Instagram or LinkedIn is optional and opens the relevant platform.
For nominations, please have the person’s permission before sharing their contact details. Please avoid including sensitive health information or private details about children in these initial forms.
Personal sharing links contain a public name and a random reference. Email addresses, other contact details, nominee information, and private notes are kept out of those links. Pure records the introduction when someone submits an enquiry through the link.
Questions typed into the Born to Connect project guide are matched with its current published answers in your browser. They are not sent to Pure or saved. If you choose an external contact link, that service’s own privacy settings apply.
Your guided challenge journal and progress are stored privately so you can return to them. Access uses a secure purchase cookie or your signed-in ChatGPT account, matched to your purchase email. Your journal stays within your challenge experience. An optional reflection tool prepares a prompt for you to review, copy, and discuss in ChatGPT. Nothing is sent to ChatGPT automatically, and replies are not synced back to the site. Optional reminder files are created in your browser and imported into your own calendar; Pure does not send reminder messages.
The Pure Project app is available to active members. Your profile is hidden until you choose to make it discoverable. Optional profile photos are stored privately and delivered to authorized members; YouTube introductions play only when selected. You choose whether your community challenges and accepted collaborations appear on your profile. Taking part in a community challenge or project shares your name in that context. Private challenge reflections are not shown to other members; a shared note is optional. Private conversations open after an invitation is accepted. Learning-group conversations are shared only with people who have accepted an invitation to that group. Your training reflections are private to your account. Sharing a learning uses a separate form and never copies your private reflection automatically. Messages identify their author within their conversation. Meeting links are visible to members who join a gathering. Your email and payment details are never shown in community profiles. Blocking closes a connection, and reports go privately to the Pure owner. Photos, projects, participation, messages, and reports are stored to provide these services; contact Pure for access, correction, or deletion.
Home suggestions use your chosen interests, location, preferences, and the public topics of community gatherings, challenges, and projects you choose to join. Repeated, recent participation can privately suggest additional interests; your public interests change only when you save them. You can turn activity-based suggestions off in Profile. Private messages, voice notes, calls, and journals are not used for matching. Conversation pinning, archiving, and removal apply only to your account. Removing a conversation or message from your view leaves the other person’s copy intact. Saved text copies download to your device and include messages and available transcripts, with recordings remaining in the app.
A personal invitation link uses a random reference. Opening it stores that reference in a secure first-party cookie for up to 30 days so an introduction can remain attached to membership checkout. Referrers see aggregate progress and reward counts, not friends’ email addresses or payment details. Each new referred member can earn the inviter one membership-month credit after completing a first paid, non-refunded month. Credits match the inviter’s current monthly membership rate and apply to future membership invoices; they have no cash value. Journals and conversations are not cached for offline access.
Memberships and digital purchases are processed by Stripe. Pure keeps the contributor’s name, email, optional location and time zone, contribution amount, and payment and subscription references and status in private records for administration and follow-up. Card details remain with Stripe. Making a contribution does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing.
Video players load from YouTube only when you choose to play a video. YouTube’s own privacy and cookie settings apply when its player loads. Bookings are handled by Calendly. Its calendar loads only when you choose to begin a conversation. Calendly’s own privacy and cookie settings apply there. The Pure application does not add advertising analytics.
Completed forms remain in Pure’s private Owner Inbox. An automatic check sends a copy to the Pure owner through their connected Gmail account so they can review and follow up. Training applications are reviewed personally. A successful submission shows a receipt reference, and Pure follows up through your preferred contact method.
Enquiries are stored privately for review and follow through. For access, corrections, or deletion, contact hello@PureProject.org.
