Stan Stalnaker is a pioneering strategist and entrepreneur who has spent over two decades architecting what he terms the world’s first "virtual state." Long before "network states" became a mainstream tech discourse, Stalnaker began building the infrastructure for a decentralized, borderless society through his ecosystem, Hub Culture.
His vision centers on the transition from traditional nation-states to a Network State model—a digital community with its own currency (Ven), identity system (HubID), and liquid governance (Propel).
Before founding Hub Culture in 2002, Stalnaker was International Marketing Director for FORTUNE and Money. His transition was sparked by his book, *Hub Culture: The Next Wave of Urban Consumers*. In recent years, he has expanded the boundaries of his digital state by integrating AI for governance, granting nature a formal vote on Hub Culture's board, and developing The Emerald City—a metaverse capital for its members.
